Capital Improvements Program
The following is a narrative and summary chart detailing scheduled capital improvements program (CIP) projects including costs and an implementation schedule over the next five years. The grand total of these projects is $2,750,000.
2019 Fiscal Year
If feasible, construct Lake Nina and Lake Lily water quality projects. Stormwater Drainage Rehabilitation Project - Tomahawk and Mohawk - this is a reconstruction/repair of a stormwater pipeline from Mohawk Trail to the headwater creek. Reconstruction of the headwall and options for the treatment of runoff will be explored. Feasibility determination for drainage lining project Kyle and Minnehaha circle, and Lake Minnehaha-Cheyenne Trail Nutrient Improvement project.

2020 Fiscal Year
Conduct feasibility study on projects identified in the 2016 Stormwater Lakes Management Plan (SLMP) update. Easement acquisition and property owner coordination on feasible projects determined in 2019. This includes Kyle and Minnehaha circle, and Lake Minnehaha-Cheyenne Trail Nutrient Improvement project. Construct projects identified in 2018 that proved feasible and property acquisition and property owner coordination has been resolved.

Conduct feasibility study on projects identified in the 2016 SLMP update. Easement acquisition and property owner coordination on feasible projects determined in 2020. Replace Stormwater Drainage Lining - replace the CIPP liner from Kyle to Minnehaha Trail.
This is the relining of existing stormwater infrastructure that has exceeded its normal life span. Cheyenne Trail Nutrient improvement project (Lake Minnehaha) - Install nutrient reducing infrastructure in the stormwater system at Cheyenne Trail and Dommerich Drive to treat the stormwater runoff entering the Lake Minnehaha.
