Celebrate the holidays with snow, fireworks, Santa, games, festive music and much more at the City of Maitland's Season of Light event from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at Lake Lily Park.
The annual tradition will feature holiday decorations and performances from Maitland Middle School, Dommerich Elementary School, Suzuki Music Institute and Chance 2 Dance.
Take photos with Santa. Slide down a snow-covered hill. Enjoy carnival games with prizes. Catch the grand tree lighting on Lake Lily. Then wrap up the evening with fireworks at 8 p.m.
Food and craft vendors will be available. Admission is free.
Visit the Maitland Farmers' Market between 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. each Sunday on Independence Lane next to City Hall.
Pickleball games are held Mondays and Wednesdays at Maitland's Minnehaha Park, 1001 E. Horatio Ave. Free to play.
Try Yoga with Weights - now offered Thursdays at the Maitland Community Park, 1400 Mayo Ave.
Maitland's Movie in the Park will feature the holiday favorite "The Santa Clause" at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at Independence Square next to City Hall.
Bring a blanket and chairs to watch the movie under the stars with holiday trivia and free popcorn. Kids games will be available on the lawn.
Grab some food and drinks to enjoy during the movie from Sanford Brewing Company, Houndstooth Kitchen and Eatery, Boku Sushi, Outpost, 407 Gelato and Starbucks.

The Maitland Farmers' Market is every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Independence Lane next to City Hall. Shop fresh produce and fruit, plants and flowers, crafts, food, live music and more.
